actually, i intentionally put that to dismiss some people’s perception (including myself). it was pretty awesome and fast! well, from my experience today, at least. 🙂
i applied for a passport way back in 2008 and got my Machine Readable Passport for my training in India. it was very stressful because i was pressed for time. i never applied for a passport before because i never thought i’d need it. the ‘express’ processing then was 12 working days! so i actually missed the first day of the workshop i was attending because i had to apply for the visa afterwards and wait for that. hays…
anyway, after almost 5 years, i need to renew it for another workshop but it’s on October. my passport is only valid until march 2013 — within the 3 months validity required by the embassy for visa application but 2 months short of the validity required by most airlines. after advising with colleagues, i decided to schedule my renewal. i applied online for the schedule and i chose the earliest possible time i.e. today at 7:30 AM. Magpatuloy magbasa awful DFA passport renewal system!
Haven’t been thinking clearly these past few days. Rains haven’t let up since last week and has saturated the soil and overwhelmed the river system.
this is the latest news that i got online. i’m planning to go there tomorrow or next week if it’ll be accessible. last i heard was you needed a boat to reach our old house right now since all roads are flooded. trucks who transport people in the town are very few and often filled because of people looking for food and water.
ako lang ba ang gumagamit ng “time first” noong bata? sa pagkaka-alala ko, never kong ginamit ang “time out muna!” pag naglalaro kami sa likod-bahay ng mga kalaro ko. lalo na kapag taguan, habulan, Jollibee-Jollibee, langit-lupa (impyerno. im-im-impyerno. :P), o kahit na anong ‘action game’, laging sinasabi ang “time first!”
😛 hehe…
anyway, medyo nalulunod ako sa mga kaganapan sa buhay ngayon. bunga na rin kasi ng sarili kong katamaran na gawin agad-agad ang mga gawain. kaya ayan tuloy, naipon ng naipon. maling time management talaga. di nako natuto. pero kung natuto man, saglit lang and then balik ulit sa dating petiks na gawain pagkatapos ng 1 or 2 linggo. hay… paano ko ba masu-sustain yung productive time ko?
tsk, nasasayang tuloy ang “ME time” ko. ewan ko, parang nawawalan ako ng balanse ngayong mga araw na ‘to. di naman siguro ako nagkakasakit. di naman ako gaanong stressed… well, sort of kasi maluwag naman sa office. pero deadlines naman sa ibang bagay. di ata ako maka-cope ng maayos. i need a breather… (pero kagagaling ko lang sa 4-day weekend. tsk, bad time management skills talaga! although i’m happy to report that i cleaned the CR, got to throw a big bag of plastic and managed to clean up that pile of boxes gathering dust under the stairs all this time. :D) see? pati pagba-blog ko, ang gulo! anyway, ayun. maybe i just need to get it all out of my system and hope and pray that blogging will work. it’s been a while na din ah…
ayan, i feel better. kaso uwian na. 😛 haha! babay for today! 😀
